Te Rongoroa scholarships, offered by Te Mana o te Awa, are specifically designed to support the less heralded young leaders of Whanganui iwi who push the boundaries for development of our whānau and hapū in learning pursuits beyond the more commonly supported tertiary education sector.
The new scholarship aims to grow and develop Whanganui iwi’s capacity to enhance and protect the health and well-being of Te Awa Tupua and Whanganui iwi.
There are seven (7) Scholarships available to support applicants who are actively involved in their marae and hapū to participate in an activity or experience that will grow their capability to contribute to the health and well-being of Te Awa Tupua.
Te Rongoroa Scholarships application closes at 5pm on Wednesday 06 October 2017.
