A step closer to Treaty settlement

November 2018 The Ruapehu tribes of Uenuku, Tamakana and Tamahaki, are one step closer to Treaty settlement. On Friday, 23 November 2018, Uenuku chair Aiden Gilbert and the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations Hon. Andrew Little signed an Agreement in Principle (AIP) at Parliament. Ahead of the signing Mr Gilbert said the mamae (hurt)
