I am a 3rd year student studying Maori and Business Management at Te Wananga o Raukawa in Otaki.
As part of my Iwi/Hapū studies I am researching the state of Te Reo Maori, and the use of marae facilities within Iwi/Hapu throughout New Zealand.
The aim of my research is to measure and assess the level of Te Reo Māori in my Iwi and compare that to Iwi throughout New Zealand. The findings of my research will be used to formulate a revitalisation and expansion programme for Te Reo Māori.
No one’s personal details will be shared and the information will only be used for the purposes of my studies and formulating a revitalisation plan.
