We are excited to announce that nominations are officially open today for the 2024 election of trustees for the Te Korowai o Wainuiārua Trust! This is a wonderful opportunity for our uri to step forward and contribute to the leadership, direction and future of the Trust and the people it represents, Uenuku, Tamahaki and Tamakana.

We encourage you to consider nominating someone you believe has the passion, vision, skills and commitment to represent our community effectively. Each nomination helps to strengthen our voice and ensures that our perspectives are heard.

Nomination Process

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a trustee, please complete the attached nomination form. Here are some important details:

  1. Candidate Information: The candidate must provide their full legal name, contact details, and the Tūpuna Electorate they wish to represent (Tamahaki, Tamakana, or Uenuku).

  2. Supporting Documents: Candidates need to submit a recent photo and a brief profile (max 300 words) that will be shared for election purposes.

  3. Declaration: The candidate must confirm their eligibility, including being a registered adult member of the indicated Tūpuna Electorate.

Nominators

Each candidate requires the support of five registered adult members from their Tūpuna Electorate. Nominators must complete their section of the form, confirming their membership.

Key Dates

  • Deadline for Nominations: All nomination documents must be submitted by 12 noon on Friday, 18 October 2024.

  • Submission Method: Please return completed forms via email to nominations@electionz.com. Note that sending by post is not recommended.
