Te Korowai o Wainuiārua Trustee Nominations Now Open

After several years of engaging whānau about a Post-Settlement Governance Entity, our iwi chose a tūpuna-based model to receive and manage the settlement redress on behalf of Te Korowai o Wainuiārua. This means there will be three representatives per tūpuna—Uenuku, Tamahaki, and Tamakana—resulting in a trustee board of nine trustees. Whānau must align to a Primary Tūpuna Electorate to enable participation in nominations and voting for the first trustee elections.
